IIFYM Recipe-Dump and Bake Skinny Chicken Parmesan Casserole

Who doesn’t love comfort foods? This recipe is as easy as it comes with a dump and bake style. Simply throw everything together in one dish and pop it in the oven. What you get is a hearty pasta dish that will certainly satisfy any Italian cravings you may have. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 13.25 oz package of uncooked pasta (Rotini or Penne will work)
- 24 oz jar of Marinara Sauce
- 3 cups of water
- 1.85 lbs of raw chicken breast (thinly sliced into chicken tenders form)
- 1.5 cups of reduced fat shredded mozzarella
- .5 cups of grated Parmesan cheese
- .5 cups of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 F.
- Spray a 9×13 inch pan with cooking spray
- Add pasta, marinara sauce, and water to the dish and stir
- Place the chicken breast in a single layer on top and then cover tightly with aluminum foil
- Bake the dish for 30 minutes
- Uncover and stir
- Spread the mozzarella over the top and then sprinkle the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese on top as well
- Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted with a golden brown tint
